Juicy Chocolate cake with almonds and apples

This cake is a real juicy treat, we make it with chocolate, apples and almonds. Apples give juiciness and freshness to this cake. You will like it.

Biscuit Ingredients:

– 150 g of powdered sugar

– 150 g of butter

– 4 eggs

– 50 g of flour

– 1 bag of baking powder

– 2 tablespoons cocoa

– 200 g of grated apples

– 100 g ground almonds


– 1 egg

– 70 g of sugar

– 70 g butter

– 2 bars of dark chocolate


  • Biscuit: Whisk the egg yolks frothily, add powdered sugar and mix a little more, then add the butter cut into strips.
  • Mix flour, baking powder, ground almonds and cocoa, then add everything to the mixture, still stirring.
  • Add grated apples.
  • Finally, lightly stir in the solid egg whites.

Bake at 180°C 30 minutes.

  • Glaze preparation: Melt the butter and chocolate in a steamer, remove and set aside, add sugar.
  • Then add one scrambled egg, mix well and return to the heat for a few more minutes to heat the egg.
  • Pour over warm cake.
  • Decorate with chopped almonds if desired.
