Pineapple – the most famous tropical fruit – strengthens immunity

Pineapple is the most popular tropical fruit and rightly call it “king of fruits”. It is not only tasty but also very valuable in terms of nutrients.

Thanks to the enviable content of vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and enzymes such as bromelain, frequent consumption of pineapple can help strengthen immunity and reduce the risk of inflammation.

Pineapple is a source of many nutrients, vitamins and minerals, including copper, potassium, calcium, magnesium, manganese, vitamin C, vitamin B6, beta-carotene, folate and fiber.

Pineapple is a low-calorie food because it contains only 40-50 calories per 100 grams, 86% of its fruit is water, 13% carbohydrates, and contains almost no fat.

In addition to playing an important role in the immune system, vitamin C can also provide protection against skin aging by limiting the damage caused by exposure to UV radiation.

Thanks to its anti-inflammatory properties and high content of vitamin C, pineapple is the perfect post-workout snack for any athlete. In addition, pineapple is good for thirst. It consists of 87 percent water, which can help hydrate any athlete after training.

It can also be grown at home, at least as an ornamental plant, because these flowers are beautiful.
