Basque Cheesecake – easy to prepare and very tasty

Basque cheesecake is one of the simplest Cheesecakes. It is very tasty. To prepare it, you need a few ingredients that you mix and is ready to bake.

It is often called burnt cheese because its surface takes on a recognizable dark shade of brown.

Basque cheesecake is a perfectly creamy cake, so watch your baking time. When you take it out of the oven, shake the mold and it will act like a pudding with a soft inside and a firm surface. Also, keep all preparation ingredients at room temperature.

Ingredients:

  • 600 g of cheese spread (cream cheese)
  • 210 g of sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • pinch of salt
  • a teaspoon of vanilla flavoring
  • 45 g of smooth flour
  • 380 ml whipping cream

Preparation:

Turn the oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Prepare a round mold with a diameter of 24 cm. Line the mold with baking paper.

Make the room temperature cheese spread and sugar with a mixer until you get a compact and creamy texture.

Adds egg by egg mixing all the time.

Now add the sifted flour, salt and vanilla flavoring. Connect everything with a mixer.

Finally add the whipping cream.

Pour the mixture into the prepared mold and bake for 50-55 minutes, or until the surface of the cheesecake gets a specific dark look.

When you take the cheesecake out of the oven, the surface should be dark and the inside soft. When you shake the mold the cheese should act like a pudding.

Leave the cheesecake at room temperature to cool.

Serve with fruit, jams …

Pleasant!
