Refreshing recipes with watermelon – the queen of summer

Watermelon refreshes and hydrates during hot summer days and is full of nutrients. We are used to simply cutting it and eating it, but there are a lot of delicious recipes with watermelon that are very tasty and at the same time easy to prepare.

Below we bring you great recipes with the queen of summer, watermelon!

– Smoothie of watermelon, strawberry and chia seeds –

Prepare in 5 minutes.


  • 1.5 cups watermelon
  • 1 cup frozen strawberries
  • 1/2 ripe banana
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • juice of 1 lime
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds


Put all the ingredients in a blender and mix well!

Watermelon pizza –

Sweet pizza is healthy enough for breakfast and sweet enough for dessert, and once you try it, it will surely immediately become your favorite summer treat!

Preparation time: 15 minutes.


  • 1 large round slice of watermelon
  • 1 Greek yogurt
  • 50 g blueberries
  • 50 g strawberries
  • 50 g blackberries
  • 2 oranges
  • a handful of nuts (walnuts, almonds, cashews or as desired)
  • 50 g of coconut flour
  • grated chocolate
  • a few mint leaves
  • wooden sticks (optional)


Cut a large slice of watermelon (widthwise) so that you get a round base for “pizza”. Place on a plate or tray.

Then cut the slice into 6 equal parts, and you can add a wooden stick to each slice.

Put a spoonful of Greek yogurt on each slice, arrange the fruit and sprinkle a little coconut flour. You can also use pieces of coconut instead of coconut flour.

Finally add mint for decoration and sprinkle with grated chocolate.

If you don’t like berries, you can use the fruit as desired, but make sure it is well squeezed before you put it on the yogurt.

– Salad of watermelon, blueberries and feta cheese –

This refreshing watermelon salad, combined with feta cheese and blueberries, nourishes the body with vitamin C, K and manganese.

Preparation time: 5 minutes.


  • 8 cups chopped watermelon
  • 1.5 cups fresh blueberries
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil
  • 1/2 cup chopped feta cheese
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice


Put the fruit in a bowl.

Chop fresh basil.

Mix basil and feta cheese with the fruit.

Season the salad with lime juice.

Stir well and serve!
