Creamy and refreshing cherry cake

The cherry season has finally arrived and this treat must be on your table.

Creamy and refreshing treats are what we need in the summer months. It is very tasty and quick to prepare.


1 gelatin

1 cup sour cream

1/2 cup sugar

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1/2 teaspoon almond extract

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

2 cups coarsely chopped cherries

250 ml of sweet sour cream

About 16 pieces of biscuits


Mix gelatin with cold water and let it stand for a minute. Heat and stir over low heat until the gelatin is completely dissolved. Let stand 5 minutes. Mix one cup of cherries with gelatin.

Put sour cream, sugar, lemon juice, almond and vanilla extract, 1 cup of cherry and gelatin mixture in a blender and mash.

Whisk in the sweet sour cream and set aside 1/2 cup for decoration. Pour the remaining whipped cream into the cherry mixture. Add the coarsely crushed biscuits and the remaining cherries. Stir well. Pour the mixture into 8 bowls.

Refrigerate for at least 2 hours.

Serve with separate whipped cream and toppings as desired.
