Vitamin salad with pomegranate and arugula

Salad should be an integral part of every meal. Combine foods of different colors to get as many antioxidants and nutrients as possible. This way, you will always have a different combination of flavors, so you will enjoy it even more.

So far I have only used pomegranate to prepare desserts and this is the first time I have used it this way. Arugula has a bitter and sharp taste because it contains a large number of essential oils.

Arugula salad is perfect for a summer feast. The neutral taste of lettuce, spicy arugula and sour-sweet taste of pomegranate in this salad fit perfectly.


1 small head of lettuce,

2 handfuls of arugula,

½ cups of pomegranate,

1 tablespoon of cold-pressed olive oil,

Juice of half a lemon,

1 teaspoon of honey or agave syrup,

Himalayan salt


Clean and wash lettuce and arugula. Mix lemon juice, honey and olive oil and mix well.

Mix lettuce, arugula and pomegranate, then pour over the resulting dressing and salt to taste.
