A healthy recipe for spring lunch: stuffed chard rolls

Chard is one of the most famous plants with green leaves in Europe. It is mostly grown in the Mediterranean climate. It has a great application in cooking. It is rich in vitamins and minerals.

Chard rolls are very tasty, they are quick to prepare. You can prepare them with meat of your choice.

• 40 chard leaves
• 500 g of minced meat of your choice
• 50 g of rice
• 1 egg
• 1 onion
• 1 clove of garlic
• salt, pepper
• 50 ml of oil
• sour cream

Place the leaves on top of each other and pour hot water over them. After a few seconds, drain the water. Set the greens aside.

Cook the rice and set aside.
Fry finely chopped onion in oil, add meat and spices and sauté everything. Finally, add the crushed garlic.

Combine the meat and rice, then add one egg to the cooled mass and connect the mass.

Put a spoonful of meat filling on each chard leaf and arrange them in a fireproof dish, greased with oil. Pour water to soak the chard rolls and put it in the oven to bake for about 40 minutes at 200 degrees celsius.

Remove the chard rolls , leave to cool a bit and serve with sour cream.
